Sanae antarctic base

Posted by on May 6, 2011 in Exteriors, Gallery | 1 comment

I only wished I could get commissioned for something like this.

This is a pure ‘for fun’ model and render, my fascination for all things that can withstand the cold of a south pole winter took control.

This is the South African antarctic base, built in 1997, at the time it was the most advanced address on the continent.

I had to be the first to model and render it.

Coalesce

A design of mine that was short sighted for the American market, Europe, no problem with a single shower unit. Texas another story…one cannot call for help if one is stuck in the shower.

Mobile cottage

Posted by on May 5, 2011 in Exteriors, Gallery | 0 comments

Created for a client in the UK, concept to curcumvent the ‘trailer’ laws by having a tent style awning/roof. The homes are all portable and can be set up in a caravan park or rented lot. The benefit of this will be apparent during the 2012 olympics when accomodation is most scarce.

The mini home features a bedroom with queen size bed, bathroom and kitchenette.

Modeled with Sketchup and rendered with Thea.

Dunny revealed

Fetish

Posted by on May 5, 2011 in For Fun | 0 comments

These are just images taken from a sequence images that were used in Wired magazine May 2011 iPad edition.
The complete sequence is controlled by the users in an interactive way, IE, you can spin the product around to explore it.

The two products are Glenmorangie Whiskey 1981 is a limited edition case and a Och designed watch in a hydraulic retracting case, the reason for the title Fetish I guess is these are luxuries we can only seriously dream about.

The project was modeled with Sketchup and rendered in Thea, 120 renders per product.

This is in the for fun section as I just do not have a’ prodvis’ page…curiously.
